Intentions were to help provide some extra armour in event of rollover and add a little extra roof area detail.
Mine was warped and did not line up even on my roof line with body, I had to make some adjustments on its placemat and could not get the gaps as close as I would have preferred..
The lights/ wires do not pass through any of the pre drilled holes in the roof. Also the light wires stick out an inch behind the light socket without any way to run them in a clean fashion, it would have been a rooftop mess!
The lights would have been nice feature but my primary reason of purchase was for extra rooftop protection and visual scale detail.
